List of Volvo OEM suppiers in this thread (Febi, Peters, or Scan-Tech tranny mount?) 700

The following companies are OEM suppliers to Volvo that I have confirmed so far:

Febi, Sachs, Boge, Gabriel (shocks on GT and R vehicles), TRW (part of Federal Mogul), ZF, Aisin Warner (and Borg Warner), Garret, Mitsubishi, Mann, Continental, Michelin, Pirelli (tires for GT vehicles), Blackstone, Bougicourd, Bosch, Bendix (now part of Allied Signal), ATE, Girling, Siemens, Vernat/Caloristat, and a few others that I can't remember right now.

Of note, ScanTech and MTC (aka Missionary Trading Company) are not OEM suppliers. However, on rare occasions, I have found OEM parts that were re-boxed in ScanTech packages, but this is not typical. I normally assume that a ScanTech part is a cheap knock-off of the original Volvo OEM part. There are dozens of threads on the Brickboard complaining about quality and fitment issues with ScanTech & MTC parts. Just do a quick search, and you'll understand. If you enjoy doing the operation multiple times, buy ScanTech since it's probably going to fail a lot sooner than and OEM part would.

God bless,
Fitz Fitzgerald.
