Stripped threads on a throttle shaft 140-160

I c'n probably cough up a used throttle shaft. Are we talking about HS6 or
HIF6? Front or rear? (I have a lot more HS6 stuff)

But if you have to have that nut tight to keep it from leaking it means your
carbs need rebushed or oversized shafts. Or if it is an HIF6 you could
probably replace the little rubber seals and keep on going. They are the
same seal as used on the FI throttle shafts.

The big names are Joe Curto in New York (718) 465-4829 or Rhys Kent in
Vancouver (250) 479-5482.
If I were going to have it done by someone else I would talk to Jim Taylor
here in Bartlesville. He does good work on SUs for a lot of folks who have
Anguish (English) cars including some racers. You can call him at
(918) 333-3444. Tell him I sent you.
