164E fuel cutting out 140-160

You should keep an eye on fuel pressure to find out for sure if it is or is not
a fuel pressure issue. Until you know that, all the electrical components in
the world probably will not help. But if it is always related to a fuel tank
level (NEVER does it on a full tank) there is plenty of room for suspicion
no matter what. It could even be something as simple as the vent in your
gas cap being plugged so you are pulling a vacuum in your gas tank.

I usually hook up a gauge to the cold start injector line.

I've been sorely tempted to hook up a fuel pressure gauge on my 145E
(the Yellow Peril) as a permanent installation. (It might read "Oil Pressure)
on the face.)
