Loss of Power Mystery - Calling all Experts

You stated that you changed the knock sensor, is there one or is there two on your engine? I'm thinking there may be two on your engine. Did you tourqe them down correctly( 11 ft lbs) get them too tight and they are just as bad as the one you took off.
Have you cleaned out you intercooler, may have a blockage in there that will not give enough air into the system.
Try unhooking the air mass meter with the car off, if it runs upon restart there is the problem.
Have you replaced the crank position sensor, if it's the original it could also cause this problem.
Sorry about going from one to the other on ideas but with out being there I'm just throwing the things out that come to mind.
Hope that helps
Poolman
