If you manage to do it, please post here with your story. A lot of folks here are devout fans of Volvos and don't like them messed with, but there would be a sizable number who would be interested in your results. In my case, I try to keep my Volvos as stock looking as possible, but I do not hesitate to add modern technical advances. I haven't gone as far as an engine swap, but I'm considering it for one of my cars, and would like to know how you did.
