A/C blower problem S90-V90 1998

Hello all!
This is my 2nd time to post this problem. blower slows down as load on engine increases and then speeds up when the load decreases. Sometimes the air flow will stop completely although I can hear the blower running at full tilt with no air coming from dash, defrost or footwell vents. then, mysteriously, the air flow comes back. Posted this last Dec and then seemed to cure itself. now is back big time just in time for my wife's summer (90degree) driving pleasure. Anyone have any suggestions? Have checked for vazuum leaks but can't find one.
