exhaust paint. worth the effort? 200

After having my car sound like a harley for the past week, i finally ordered a new exhaust. I'm just going to do it all at once, rather than replacing it piece by piece. So that this one lasts longer than the last (hopefully), i was thinking about painting it. Now, i realize that it would have to be high temperature paint, and would probably have to be cured in my oven, seeing as the exhaust probably won't get hot enough over the length of the pipe to fully cure. I'm also not patient enough to wait for Por-15 to send me their high-T paint, so i'll probably be using whatever canned product wally world or advance auto has to offer. Would such a plan offer any benefits? I figure i'll probably have plenty of drying time while i'm hammering/cutting/swearing the old exhaust off the car.

Also, are there any issues with painting pipes and mufflers with that crap?
