I talked to a shop today who will do my 740 turbo. He said its completely compatable and great for volvos and cools better than 134.
Cost is estimated to be 100 bucks for labor and two pounds of it. No modifications to the car are necessary at all.
For comparison, I talked to another shop who said it will be 350 bucks to use r-12
