A/C leak update 200

I found the place where my A/C is leaking - thats the good news. The bad news is that it appears to be the fan? or evaporator? housing in the bottom middle section where it is leaking from a seam. Right under this leak is the white vacuum resevoir. Which will need to be removed to get to the leak. Looks like there are vacuum hoses going to middle of this white bottle from the vacuum switches. If I pull it, looks like I may never be able to connect them up again due to the tight space. Has anyone removed this vaccum bottle w/o pulling the whole dash apart ? Is there a simple procedure to re-attach the switch hoses that go to the middle of the unit ? Thought I'd ask before I do something I'll regret. Thanks !
