1984 B23FT/LH-Jet 2.1 transplant into K-Jet 1975 245 200 1975

Hi,

I'll do some more reading on the subject but, meanwhile, I have a few questions:

- how elaborate a job would be the transplant of the whole LH-Jet 2.1 system into a K-Jet 1975 245? I have the complete donor 1984 Volvo 760, am mechanically inclined but unfamiliar with electronics.

- the B23FT engine in question has 120,000 miles. I haven't yet checked it's compression but maybe I'll put new rings in while the engine is out.

I have a set of appropriate 'Deves' steel piston-rings. If the factory honing marks are still clearly visible in the cylinders, might I get away with reringing without honing?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
