Clear plastic side window wind deflectors, Are they worthed? 200

This morning at the bone yard I saw front side windows wind deflectors for the first time. I was tempted to by them but…

Are these doing a good job when air conditioning is dead? Are they noisy when windows are closed?

I would apreciate comments from people that did use them. I understand that these are probabably not made to be put on at beginning of summer and be removed in the fall.
