3-way lower radiator hose? 900 1993

I just replaced my water pump, and thought the hoses looked good enough, but they are leaking slowly. The lower hose is leaking at the pump union and the upper hose is leaking at the radiator union. From what I understand, the best solution is to simply replace the hoses. I would have done that while the system was drained, but there's a funny-looking 3-way hose on the lower hose. Well, it IS a 3-way hose. I have a 1993 940 Turbo. Is this normal for this model? I've seen it listed for 1991 and previous models, but all sources indicate the standard 2-way hose for my car.

My first question is... any advice for servicing the hoses so they stop leaking? PB Blaster claims to restore rubber surfaces, but I don't know if that's good enough.

Second, do I simply use the 3-way hose for pre-1991 models on my 1993 car? If not, where do I find the right hose?

Many thanks!
