Dumb question... 140-160

OK, I think I have established that when it comes to mechanical things, I am somewhat challenged. On the other hand, when it comes to upholstery, and just about everything else, I am pretty good.

Here's my question. I have removed the dash and repaired the cracks and covered it in black leather. While I have the dash off, it is easier to fix things that have been wired incorrectly. I also added a new center speaker since one was never there.

I have decided to install a new stereo while it is off. It is actually one I removed from another car so I have no installation instructions.

There is a pink wire that says "Memory 12V +" and a black ground wire that comes out of a filter and fuse box. I know where the black one goes. What about the pink one? On the stereo, it says "B+ connect to battery".

There is a red wire with a fuse box connected to it that says "12V Plus" and on the stereo this one says to connect to the ignition switch.

Lastly, what the heck is the screw sticking out of the back of the stereo for?

Thanks for any help. I would appreciate any advice. The car has the steering wheel removed right now so I cannot drive it to a place to have them install it.
