guzzling gas and missing on 1st. cyl. 700 1992

Wife used 1/2 tank to go 80 miles then stalled in driveway. She said it had died at stoplights twice that day but always restarted! I found a loose wire in the fuel relay, resoldered, and thought that would fix the stall. It seems to have delt with that problem but still drinks fuel. I have checked the temp. sending unit under the 3rd. runner and it tests ok, the air mass meter is new but checked it anyway, voltage is good and eng. dies when it is removed! I cannot find any holes in the air intake lines, though one to the idle control motor split when it backfired. That has been patched until a replacement can be found. The fuel pressure regulator is new, no sign of leakage there. Fuel injectors have been refurbished,(o-rings and seals) and am replacing one that is suspect today. All fuel filters have been replaced. The only thing in the ignition system not new are plug wires, due to be replaced tonight! There are no trouble codes, I just get 1-1-1 for ignition and 1-1-1 for fuel supply. The car idles fairly good, but is a total dog above 50 mph. A new turbo went in 3 weeks ago and everything worked fine for two weeks. Has anyone got some insight into whats going on here. I am about at my wit's end!
