towing capacity 700 1987

A cooler is a good idea because it lowers the temperature of the transmission oil that tends to be heated more my the greater load resulting from towing a trailer. Set it up so that fluid goes through the cooler on the radiator first, then goes into the add-on cooler, then from the add-on cooler through the return line back to the transmission. What this means is that you connect one of the hoses to the add-on cooler to the nipple on the radiator (source of transmission fluid) and the other hose to the return line that use to connect to the top fitting on the radiator.
