Yeah, that's one of the places that has the 'secret audio' thing. As far as the iPod solution- the FM transmitter option is about the worst one I've tried. Some modern head units have an aux-in, and you can also get adaptors that will plug into the CD changer plug on the back of the more popular brands to tap into that input. Of course, every brand wires their changer plug differently, because they want you to buy their changer! I've tried to find out if there is such a cord/adaptor that would work with the 'secret audio' CD changer jack, but I've received, well, 'jack' for an answer! Might be able to figure out what pin is what in the plug/jack and make up something that would get to the input myself...
