Volvo 240 Transmission Mount Replacement 200 1986

This is how I remember the job:

1. Support the transmission with a floor jack.
2. Undo the bolt that holds the old tranny mount to the cross-member.
3. Unbolt the crossmember and move it out of the way.
4. Unbolt the old tranny mount from the tranny.
5. Bolt the new mount to the tranny.
6. Bolt the cross-member back in place.
7. Bolt the new mount to the cross-member.

It's been a while, but as I recall it was a quick procedure that went without incident. Not nearly as involved as changing engine mounts.

I don't recall any torque specs for the cross-member, just tightented well and rechecked after some driving time. If you're into DIY, you know the drill.

Good luck.
