Brake replacement-question 700

Does anyone know if the 700 series ever had a one piece front hub/rotor that measured 11.25"? To my understanding, the 11's came only as the separate hub/rotor on later model cars. My car is an '84 that has 10.25 one piece hub/rotors. I bought a new set ( from another Volvo owner locally) that was supposed to fit right on my car. They're one piece, and measure 11.25". Can anyone explain this? My calipers won't bolt over these bigger rotors. I think later Bendix caliper brackets will make this work, but I want to make sure before I buy anything else.
