91 740 instrument cluster removal 700

stayed home today to change out my ignition switch...

can anyone tell me how to remove the instrument cluster on a 91 740 sedan?

I do not have the trim tabs described in the FAQ and described in my manuals. Instead, I have 2 small slots in the plastic bezel surrounding the cluster, one on each side - 1 to the left of the fuel guage, and the other to the right of the temp guage...no trim tabs covering phillips head screws...I am assuming that once this plastic molded fitting around the instrument cluster is removed, it may expose the phillips screws for removal????

I am tempted to put a screw driver in the slots and yank, but I am sure there is a more sensible way to remove the plastic bezel and instrument cluster????

so, how do you remove the instrument cluster on 91 740's with these plastic slots?

and thanks to Mark and Alan for responding to my earlier question...
