Timing Gear Trouble HELP. 120-130

Hello All,

I just finished putting in the new timing gear. I went with the aluminium gear set and everything went together just fine. When I fired her up, there was a high pitched whine that is really loud. I shut it off, checked everyting and confirmed that it is the gears with my trusty stehoscope (when running again). I ran it for a bit with my ear plugs in and everything seems to work well, it's just very, very loud. What do I do now? Do these gears (Cloyes set) every stop making the racket? Do they seat or wear in? The only difference between these gears and the stock (aside from the material) is that the angle of the helix is different, could this be the problem?

Guesses?
Craig
