Installed B21FT. Stuck...... 200 1984

"The belts! I've got 4 or 5 belts, some smooth on the inner side and some grooved. I have no idea which belt is the alternator belt, which is the power steering pump belt, the a/c compressor belt or the shaft belt. Anyone?

Give us the numbers on the belts and we can probably sort them out. Also dimensions -- like the two alternator belts will me marked 9.5x925 (1984) or 9.5x918 or 920 (1985 up). PS and AC also change betwee '84 and '85.

On alternator, the smaller red wire goes to small D+ post (insulated from frame like Big Red B+ post). Plain D+ post takes a ring terminal, but may be (or have been) fitted with flat push-on terminal adapter (see coil primary terminals).

The black and green wires go to oil pressure sender. Should be different size female spade ends, so they will only go on one way.
