Turbodiesel resurrection and FRAM PH977 Filter

All I could find was the FRAM PH977A. Is this the correct filter? I did the valve clearances today. It went very well using the Hazet tool. A friend showed me how to pop the adjustment disks out with compressed air-very slick! He also happened to have 4 valve covers laying around collecting dust! The glow plugs in the car right now end in 021. The spec in the Bosch book says 032. I looked up 021 and it wasn't in the Bosch book. Can anyone explain this? is the 021 an old obsolete glowplug? Next step: compression. I'm kind of scared at what I might find...I guess a ring and valve job wouldn't be the end of the world.
