Brake caliper overhaul..Bendix 700 1988

Searched forums and FAQ regarding the color coding on the brake caliper piston seal and found nothing.
I have had problems with sticky brakes and decided check the piston and caliper bore. Of course I had a dust boot and caliper piston seal kit ready at hand..Then I see the piston seal has colored line markings as if it matters which way it needs to be installed..( A mechanic told me that the seal is tapered..then this makes sense)..

Does anyone know how to interpret these color codes (lines)
