I need to change a very corroded looking fuel fitler.. and suggestions ?

Consider taking the whole tray (fuel filter and main fuel pump) off the and working at the bench instead of lying under the wagon with junk falling into your eyes. Don't forget to have a plug handy to cap the main fuel line. Be very careful with the plastic line between the pump and the filter, and use new brass seals at the banjo fittings.
