crazy d-jet and thank you WALRUS 1800 1972

I really tried everything, - checked all the sensors, injectorsand seals, air filter, leaksin the lines, changed the MAP, etc. and still... I kept getting an overich mixture. really overich.

Anyways, I remember WALRUS said you can make an unauthorized adjustment to the Manifold Air Pressure Sensor, so I gave it a try.
If you take off the Epoxy coat, then the bolt with the long and shallow shaft you will find a small screw to adjust. Clockwise is leaner, CC is richer and about one full turn did the trick. I went further until it ran bad and then brought it back- that thing is touchy.

All the sudden the idle went up and the smell of gas in the pipes was significantly lessened. spark plugs look good for the first time ever and it's got plenty of kick.

So Walrus, Thank you.
