940 seats vs 740 seats

hello,
i wanted to make a quick survey abotu 740 seats vs. 940 seats. the power leathers i have in my 940 are in great shape and are comfy but the leather is a little beat. i saw a nice pair of powered 740 seats today-same color with immaculate leather, and they are heated.

a: is it a simple drop in? i know ill need to make some sort of setup for the heated seats-im hoping that there is a couple of holes/easy plug-ins i can use.

b: are the 740 seats a similar comfort level to the 940s? i dont know much about volvos, im on my first one but im debating whether i should repair the ones i have or check in to an alternative.
