Nivomat coil spring wrestling 900 1993

The easy part was getting the coil springs from FCP.

After reading the FAQ post on replacing the IRS coil spring, it seems that I have quite a tricky wee job ahead of me.

I have 4 external spring compressors rather than the 2 internal ones described in the post. Has anyone got experience of changing the springs with these?
What about unfastening the rear end of the swing arm that attaches to the hub carrier? Will that allow me to drop the swing arm lower, after removing the Nivomat, and get more access to the coil spring?

Thanks again,

Dan
