Overdrive Stuck On

Hi Brian, good to hear your still driving the Bertone.
This sounds like you've disconnected the shifter switch or cable from the switch to the OD.
The operation you have says the OD is OFF (light on = OD off)
Look below the carpet at the left side base of the center dash console. There should be the harness for the OD and connector underneath the carpet. Check the connector for the circuit completion by jumpering to ground. If it is still off (light ON), then your problem is nearer the fuse panel or relay. You may have a blown fuse, also. Both your fuse and relay for the OD is in the center console.
If the the OD is On after jumpering (light OFF), the switch in the shifter or wire to the shifter may be you culprit. You may first pry the switch out of the shifter knob and jumper there first and work your way back towards the fusebox.
A quick look under the car for loose/damaged wires would be prudent before you start to pull everything apart. Check to see teh solenoid ground wire is connected and in good shape.
