Can someone help me sort out these test points? 84 240gl 200 1984

No, not the fi wiring harness, although i wish i could afford it. I have run up on these wires/ copnnectors in the process of trying to eliminate the possiblity of wiring problems as i try to make my volvo run better. The last owner told me about the incredible knock/rattleing sound the engine made. He said he had tried everything. I guess everything included disconnecting all of the sensor wires that didn't cause the car stop running. After reconnecting all of the sensors, and retiming the engine, my volvo does not have a problem with knock/rattle anymore. I also have a slight stumble on takeoff and thought perhaps one of these connectors should be plugged in. Should I be looking for a place to plug any of these in? Thanks for your help.
