In tank fuel pump-which wire to the pump goes where? (Neg/Pos) Not color coded on pump! 700 1987

Hi All!

Turbo Wagon.

I went to replace the intank fuel pump on a used sending unit that tested fine according to Volvo Guy in RI.

Silly me, I don't know which terminal end is the one that is positive or negative. Both of the ends are white :)

Does it make a difference which one the pos/neg is screwed onto?

:) thanks!

Anna
