Look for the orange wires 200 1984

Hi Kenneth,

I have to admit it sounds as though your 84GL is no longer wired the way it was when it left Europe. Perhaps your P.O. has done some work...

White with red tracer is used in several underhood locations, for AMM and lighting too. I can't think why it would be under the manifold.

How would i be able to tell if i could try hooking up these wires without fear of damaging my computer/ignition mod.?

I'm not one to shy from wiring, but I would not ever plug the unrecognized into the unknown. Instead of guesswork, try to determine which harness swallows up that red/white, i.e. what other plugs come from where it comes from. Match the harness part number to those for your car (use Dave Barton's site as a reference) to find whether someone has replaced things with the wrong (LH2.2?) wiring. Get hold of your P.O. buddy and ask some pointed questions??
