metal cutting tool for patchwork--suggestions pls 200

I just cut a rear window piece from my part car 1800 tonight to take to the body shop for a transplant on to my 65 1800. I used my sawzall and it woked really well. Cut another one in half last year using the sawzall and cutting discs on my side grinder. I prefer the sawzal because it does not create a fire hazard the way the side grinder does (lotsa really hot sparks), but with the correct cutting discs in the side grinder (I have a 5 inch Makita) you can make very precise and vary narrow kerf cuts. An air driven die grinder with a cutting wheel is a marvel to use; almost like surgery.
