Good p.m. Yes. Inside the control box, there are: (a) a relay and (b) a 12 o4 14-pin main connector.
One of these connections has failed. The solder joint has oxidized, so power no longer can moved reliably from the controller to the compressor. The break may be microscopic.
To cure it, remove the controller unit. Remove the shiny metal cover over the circuit board. The relay is black, and rectangular. It has four pins, that go into the circuit board. To reflow the solder, touch the tip of a 25-watt soldering iron to the tip of each pin, until the solder changes from gray to shiny silver. Remove the tip. This should take no more than 2 seconds/pin.
Do the same for each of the three other relay mounting pins.
Then do the same for each of the 12 or 14 pins, of the main connector.
If there does not appear to be enough solder, use ROSIN core solder, the type used only for electrical connectors. Be careful not to use too much, as you do not want to bridge (connect) things, that are not meant to be connected.
Replace the shiny cover and re-install.
That should solve the problem.
