I'm not real good at all the technical stuff either, but this just worked for me:
Click on your name to view/edit your profile.
Towards the middle/bottom, below the address info, it says picture url
There is a blank to enter a url, then the words upload a picture, then a pull-down menu
Click on the arrow to look at the pulldown menu, it should include the photos that you have posted in the gallery.
Click on that one, then click to update your data, down at the bottom, and it should be added.
