Quality of MTC tailshaft bushing kit ('89 244)? 1988

- I cannot tell you how good or bad the MTC is but Scan Tech stuff can be pretty iffy at times.

History here has MTC parts failing a lot more catastrophically than Scantech parts. Strut mounts in 13 miles before the rubber tore and sent the strut into the hood, engine mounts that last 3 months, turbo hoses that didn't fit, hoses that leaked right from the get-go, drain plugs that don't tighten, and prolly a few more horror stories that I don't recall.

I'm convinced that MTC actually stands for Made To Crap.

I've used the ST tranny bushing stuff. Works/fits just fine.
