Same thing happened to me last week, Traced it to a disconnected Fuel Pressure Regulator. Check all your vaccuum lines and make sure they are all connected. If that does not fix it, go for the new fuel filter. Buy it from FCP for only 10$.

Autozone in Houston wants 25$ for one.
