hesitation 140-160

While both the problems mentioned earlier are still present another has emerged. My 142 idles fine but if I try to accelerate or drive the car jerks around and back fires. The plugs are sooty black with white tips and my car is running cool if that gives you any indication of the problem. So I will go down to the garage and pull the MAP sensor and coolant temp sensor off my 1800ES and see if either alleviate the problem. Thanks again.
