So it's time to clean out those fuel injectors, but i need some help first 900 1995

i've decided to try to clean out the fuel injectors using the method in the FAQ. if i remember correctly, it said to soak (not the whole thing, but just a section) of the FI in carb cleaner, then blast it out by supplying some juice to the injector (12v battery run thru a 10v light bulb first). I need to know what i need to be careful of when i am doing this, like how fragile the injectors are. do i need to flush the injector with water after the carb cleaning, or just leave it as is?

lastly, and most importantly, how do i get to the injectors? i dont want to go peeling stuff off of the engine blindly, i would probably screw it up.

well, heck, i might as well ask if it's better for me to send the FI's off to be cleaned by a shop or if it makes sense for me to do it myself. also, should i just drop the cash for a pressurized cleaner that hooks up to the fuel line and blows all the junk out without having to pull the injectors?

thanks.
