Power windows on my '87 240DL 200 1987

Hey guys,

I'm new here and am having big problems trying to modify my 1987 240DL. I really really want to put in power windows to replace the manual crank, but am going crazy trying to do it. I have the motor and regulator (entire apparatus) for the drivers side door, but still can't seem to get it to fit correctly. I'm not even sure as to exactly how the whole setup is oriented in the door (my main problem).

I don't think anyone would go through as much trouble as I am for this, so it probably hasn't been attempted by anyone else. However, does anyone have any pictures of their doors with the panels off so that it's clear how the motor and regulator are oriented, or could someone explain it to me? I have the wiring ready, all I need is to make it fit.

Thanks,

- Jim
