No start after rain 200 1990

Over the last few months, my 90' 240 won't start after it rains. After an hour to several hours, it will start right up. I noticed water leaks down the drivers-side inner fender into the engine bay. Any ideas? It didn't do this until just recently. Turns over fine, and i know its getting fuel. Is there a specific componenet for the ignition system that I need to cover to keep it from getting wet? Thanks for any help.
