Throttle Calibration 140-160

Well I am still suffering the same problems as in my last post. My '72 142E idles well but if I press the throttle the engine stumbles, shakes, and makes loud popping noises that seem to originate in the exhaust manifold (back-fire?). I replaced the MAP sensor and Coolant Temp sensor with parts barrowed from my ES. Could the culprit be that the throttle is out of calibration? How do i set it correctly?
