Plastic trim bottom of door 200 1989

Hello Bricksters,

The large plastic trim at the bottom of my passenger side rear door is starting to peel off. It seems that a small plastic stud that used to hold it snug and fit against the door broke off. At first only the edge was off, now it is gradually peeling off.

How can I put it back nice and tight against the door? Glue it?

Take the whole thing off and buy a new one?

Any tips are appreciated.

Many thanks.
