We're having more vacation fun now. Picked up a nice little travel trailer in PECOS TX yesterday, started out today in 100-110deg+ heat, did ok for an hour or so, then when slowing down for Ft stockton, it stalled when I let off the gas. it had to sit with the hood up for about ten minuits ( complete with crying kids) before it would start again, got a few blocks and it died again , sat about ten more minuits, and fired it up long enough to get in a motel parking lot.
No codes----figured the ambiant temp was just too much----waited till well after dark to go again.
Started fine , ran great for about an hour and a half, then had to slow down to see whaT had just been ripped off the trailer by the wind and when I took my foot off the gas it dies instantly.
Had to wait there hood up for about a half hour before it would start again. This time it threw a code and set the check engine light.
ran fine, got into Ozona TX and made it to the motel parking lot where it promptly died.
Ran the codes:
Fuel 133-Throttle switch idle setting faulty or grounding fault
Ignition- 214-RPM sensor signal absent intermittantly
I plan on having the nice folks at fcp groton overnight me a speed sensor and a throttle position switch in the morning ( unless I can find one here...yeah right ) is there any other related items that i might want to have them send for the heck of it that might also be related to this?
Thanks---------Robert
