Change is different from before, good? not good? just different

One of the few things that MSIE 5/Mac does right is to render the turbobricks forums (vBulletin). For whatever reason, I get a threaded display of messages with MSIE/Mac, but not with FireFox.

I too prefer the threaded display of messages.

I noticed that the option to toggle between sorting by creation and modification date has been moved off of the index page. Not a big issue by any means, but it would be nice if the recommended option of sort by modification/reply date would become the default (then I wouldn't have to reset it every time I clear the cookies out of my browser).

Also, IMO, it wouldn't hurt to make posters explicitly select a model *and* year for each new topic (so the default model would be "Pick a model" and the default year would be "Pick a year" where "all years" would still be an option, just not the default..). This would sure make the searching a bit nicer.
