85 769T Brakes make occational scraping noise 700

My 760 Turbo make a scrapping noise a kind of metal on metal sounds coming from the front left wheel and there is a pull to the left when I brake hard. It happens sometimes and not other times. The brake pads were changed (by my mechanic and noy myself) and it has been doing it since. Sometimes days go by and it is fine and other times it happens for hours.

I'm thinking it's a stuck caliper piston - or maybe the caliper guides are not sliding...anyone have this happen before?
