what recommendations for replacement shocks? 900

I am planning on replacing the original boge shocks and struts on my 95 940. I like the soft ride but IPD only offers a 2 year warranty on the Boge "automatic" replacements. For about $10 more each, IPD sells the Boge "turbo gas" with a lifetime warranty. How do the turbo gas units perform - can I still get a soft ride from them? What is the difference between the turbo gas and pro gas models? Any endorsements for other replacements (I tried bilsteins on my 240, too stiff, and the rears clanked until I got rid of them). Thanks for any advice
