Oil pick up tube o-ring replacement stalled 900 1993

OK, so I read the FAQs on the 960 o-ring replacement, a bit daunting but once I started, it all seems logical.

The trouble has been trying to the subframe nuts off. They are blocked by the tie rods and control arm. I have disconnected both and the tie rod bolt at least is accessible. I have a wobble extension for the 22 mm socket, hopefully I can get a good purchase on the nut "under" the control arm.

The problem is the nuts are extra tight. My 250 ft/lb electric impact wrench has no effect! Soaking with PB Blaster has no effect.
I am thinking of buying a 400 ft/lb air wrench (borrowing a neighbor's compressor).

Will this do the trick? Am I missing something here?

Thanks again for any help.

Dan
