Tube under rear window in a 122 wagon...What is it for? 120-130

While doing some body work and exploring, under the drivers side rear cargo area side glass there is a rubber tube in a clip which exits through a grommet in the floor inside the fender. Anyone know that this thing is for? Mine was just drooping over and not connected to anything. Is is supposed to drain something?

Also, on the same side, on the interior sill there is a small, deliberate hole which kind of looks like an upside down frenched in antenna hole (that's my best description). I know it's not for an antenna. ;) What the heck is this for?
