hello,

looks like i need to replace my crank pulley/harmonic balancer in my 92 245. i have spare new scantech pulley.

3 questions about scantech pulley.
1) how long will they last with yall's experience?
2) do you recommend filing down the openings so you can get the counterbalance tool to "grab" the pulley when torquing the pulley bolt?
3) should i go ahead and replace the pulley with a new volvo h/b, p/n 9135194 than a scantech?

i don't think it's the key because the timing is not out.

i read some archives about "squaring" the scantech pulley holes by filing them so the tool can be seated tightly when torquing the bolt.
