What's left to fix?! (or try =D)

I haven't had time to tinker under the hood, except for a brief look over while on my lunch break.

While looking, I noticed that the vacuum tube from the charcoal can to the throttle body was disconnected. It's probably been that way for a while now. Disconnected at the charcoal can. Would this cause any noticeable problems? Say running rich and poor mileage?

Will the engine run rich if there's a vacuum leak? I called a Volvo mechanic who said that the engine wouldn't run rich, but lean. hmmm.
